About the Centre

The Centre for Family Law (CFL), established in 2023 at National Law University, Jodhpur, is dedicated to fostering open and informed dialogue on one of India's most dynamic areas of law.

With the common belief that family law is not confined to tradition but is deeply intertwined with questions of gender equality, civil rights, and constitutional values, CFL provides a space through discussions, guest lectures, essay competitions, and a curated blog where complex legal questions are examined with rigour, openness and a progressive outlook.
